I was asked to pick a GRAMMy recognized song to cover by The Recording Academy, around the same time Mykal and I were filming the 'Heartslap' video, so I took this as a sign to do something truly fabulous, and opted to reimagine one of my favourite duets of all time, the amazing 'I Knew You Were Waiting (For Me)' by Aretha Franklin and George Michael. I really hope we did them proud! x
