My new single 'Sunny' is a tribute to my amazing cat that I lost last year. I wrote the song while he was in ER the first time, and finished it after he passed one month later. I asked two of my favourite artists who are also fellow cat ladies - Beth Hirsch and Nerina Pallot - to sing on the song with me. My friend Sophie Galpin arranged and recorded the strings for the song.
The song is available digitally, but also as a limited edition orange 12" single with $2 from each sale going to Bideawee, the rescue shelter that I adopted Sunny from.
I hope this song brings you warmth and peace, as it allows me to honour him. x
